If you happen to be in Boquete in January, the Flower & Coffee Fair is something you shouldn’t miss. It’s a massive celebration of the region’s flowers, coffee, and local culture, and the whole town comes alive with colorful displays, music, and events. Walking through the fair feels like a mix of a festival and a market, with local vendors selling flowers, crafts, coffee, and delicious food everywhere you turn.
We loved wandering around, trying fresh coffee from the local producers and seeing all the amazing flower displays. There’s live music, parades, and even contests for the best blooms, which makes it really fun to explore whether you’re with friends, family, or solo. It’s such a vibrant, happy vibe, and you get to see the local culture in a really immersive way.
Entry is usually free or very cheap, and most of your spending will be on food, souvenirs, or flowers, which are really reasonably priced. If you’re in Boquete during the fair, it’s a must-do experience for the colors, smells, and energy — plus, it’s a great way to support local growers and artisans!
