We’d totally recommend Cariñito Tacos if you’re in Mexico City and love tacos that aren’t quite what you expect. This spot is actually featured in the Michelin Guide for Mexico City, known for its clever Mexico‑meets‑Southeast‑Asian taco creations that locals and visitors both rave about. The tacos are creative and full of flavor, and prices are really affordable, usually around 60–120 MXN per taco, so it’s easy to try a few different ones. Our tip is to go for the Cantonese‑style taco with confit pork belly — it’s often the highlight on the menu and a favorite of ours every time. These tacos caught us off guard but were so good!
