We ate at El Coroncoro and it was such a nice experience. It’s a relaxed, welcoming restaurant that focuses on traditional Colombian flavours, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The atmosphere is calm and cosy, making it a great spot for a sit-down meal.

The dishes are all about fresh, local ingredients and really good flavours. Everything we tried was full of taste without being fancy or overdone — just well-cooked, honest food. It’s the kind of place where you take your time, enjoy the meal, and actually talk about how good everything is.

Prices are reasonable for the quality, usually around 12–20 USD per main. If you’re in Cartagena and want a great local restaurant that does Colombian food really well, El Coroncoro is definitely worth checking out.
