If you’re in Bacalar and want a fun day out in nature, Ecoparque Bacalar is a really cool spot. It’s right on the lagoon, so you can swim, kayak, or just float in the calm, blue water. There are also some trails and little spots to explore if you feel like stretching your legs.

Entry is usually around 150–200 MXN per person, and it’s packed with locals, which makes it feel really authentic. It’s perfect if you don’t have your own lake access but still want to enjoy a swim in the lagoon. Bring a picnic or a cold drink and just hang out by the water — it’s one of those places where you can relax and soak up all day.
