We stayed at Río Buritaca Hostel and honestly, it was one of the most epic jungle hostels we’ve ever been to. Nestled right on the river, the property has lush jungle all around, crystal-clear pools, and small waterfalls, making it feel like a true tropical paradise. The whole place has a super relaxed vibe, with hammocks, open-air lounges, and spots to just chill and soak in the scenery.
One of the best parts is that you can tube down the river straight from the hostel, which is such a fun way to enjoy the water and the jungle. The hostel also has a really social, lively vibe, with epic parties and plenty of chances to meet other travelers. Whether you’re hanging out by the pool, floating in the river, or swapping stories over a drink, it’s impossible not to have a good time here.
Dorm beds usually go for around 15–25 USD per night, and private rooms are about 35–50 USD, which is amazing for a place with such a stunning location and fun atmosphere. If you’re in the Tayrona area and want a jungle hostel with epic pools, tubing, and unforgettable social vibes, Río Buritaca Hostel is an absolute must.
