We stayed at Koox Art 64 Boutique Hotel and really loved how calm and stylish it felt. It’s a small boutique hotel set inside a beautiful old colonial building right in the historic centre of Mérida, so everything is super walkable. The rooms feel modern but still full of character, and the courtyard pool is perfect for cooling off after a hot day exploring the city.

Prices are generally around 2,500 to 4,000 MXN per night, which feels like great value for the location and vibe. Our tip is to book a room facing the courtyard if you can, since it’s quieter and has the nicest views. It’s an easy place to relax, slow down and still be right in the middle of everything, which made it one of our favourite stays in Mérida.
