Visiting Teotihuacán, just outside Mexico City, is one of those experiences that really puts history into perspective. This ancient Mesoamerican city is famous for its massive pyramids, wide avenues, and deep cultural significance, and standing there you can’t help but feel how powerful this place once was.

You can explore Teotihuacán on foot, walking along the Avenue of the Dead and climbing the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon for incredible views over the ruins. It’s a fairly easy half-day trip from the city and gives you plenty of time to wander, take photos, and learn about the site’s fascinating past.

For something extra special, you can also see Teotihuacán from above on a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Floating over the pyramids as the sun comes up is honestly unreal and gives you a completely different perspective of how vast the site really is. Balloon experiences are more expensive, but many people say it’s a once-in-a-lifetime moment and totally worth it.

We did our tour through get your guide which was amazing! But its very weather dependant so fingers crossed you get a nice day for it!
