If you’re in Minca and craving a fun little adventure, the Marinka Waterfalls are a perfect spot. The hike is short and sweet, taking you through lush jungle and past coffee farms, and you’re rewarded with a beautiful waterfall where you can take a refreshing swim.

We loved how peaceful it felt — it’s not too crowded, so you can relax in the pools, snap photos, or just enjoy the sound of the water but the base of the waterfalls have been made into pools they are not natural. The trail is easy enough for most people, and there are a few spots along the way to stop and admire the jungle scenery.

We walked in from town usually takes around 1–1.5 hours round trip, and entry is cheap, about 2–3 USD. If you’re in Minca and want a quick, scenic hike with an awesome waterfall at the end, Marinka Waterfalls is a great choice.
