Providencia completely stole our hearts. This tiny Caribbean island feels like a hidden paradise, with crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and a laid-back, island-time vibe that makes you forget the world exists.
Things We Loved in Providencia:
Snorkeling & Diving – The reefs here are incredible. Swimming among vibrant fish and corals felt like being in an aquarium—it’s some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done.
Hiking & Island Views – Hiking up to spots like El Pico gave us breathtaking panoramic views of the island and surrounding turquoise waters.
Beaches & Relaxation – Beaches like Manzanillo and Fresh Water Bay are quiet, soft, and perfect for spending the day together in complete peace.
Local Culture & Eats – The island has a relaxed, friendly vibe, with small restaurants serving fresh seafood, coconut rice, and local specialties—it felt like eating right in the heart of Caribbean culture.
Best Hotel:
Deep Blue Hotel – We stayed here and loved it. Right on the water with stunning views, comfortable rooms, and easy access to snorkeling and island excursions, it was the perfect home base.
