Filthy Friday is an epic day filled with drinks like no other — it’s actually a daytime event you need to buy tickets for in advance, and it only happens on Fridays. The whole thing is super unique because you hop between bars, some on their own little islands and others on stilts over the water. It’s such a fun way to see Bocas from a different perspective while enjoying drinks and the party vibe.

The energy is absolutely infectious. Everyone’s there to dance, drink, and have a good time, and it’s so easy to meet other travelers while hopping between the bars. We loved how creative the whole setup was — it’s not something you get to do anywhere else. Be careful about diving into the water though it can be shallow around the bars and we did hear some horror stories! BE CAREFUL

Tickets are usually around 25–35 USD, which includes access to all the bars and some drinks, and it’s worth every penny. If you’re in Bocas del Toro on a Friday and want a one-of-a-kind party experience on the water, Filthy Friday is a must-do.
