We’d absolutely recommend La Olita La Punta if you’re in Puerto Escondido and want a fun, beachside place to eat with great seafood and tacos with a relaxed vibe. It’s right on the sand at La Punta with a laid‑back atmosphere, nice music and great views of the ocean while you eat. Locals and travellers rave about the fish and shrimp tacos and tempura options, and the portions are generous for the price — most people spend around MXN 200 – 300 per person for a meal with drinks. Our tip is to go for the shrimp tacos because they’re one of the standout bites on the menu and pair perfectly with a cold drink while you watch the sunset.
