Mindo Valley is a stunning destination nestled in the lush cloud forests of Ecuador, not far from Quito. Known for its incredible biodiversity, it’s a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The area boasts an impressive array of bird species, making it a hotspot for birdwatching enthusiasts. Visitors can explore scenic hiking trails, zip-line through the treetops, or simply relax by one of the many waterfalls that dot the landscape.

The small town of Mindo itself has a laid-back vibe, with cozy cafes and artisan shops where travelers can grab a bite or pick up some local crafts. The region is also famous for its chocolate production, so indulging in some delicious treats is a must. We actually didn't go here on our trip but wished we did! We heard such good things about it.
