Even though we didn’t stay at Coqui Coqui Mérida, we’d still recommend checking it out because it looks absolutely stunning. The whole place feels more like stepping into a beautifully restored colonial home than a hotel, with earthy tones, vintage details and that signature Coqui Coqui scent as soon as you walk in. It’s right in the historic centre, which makes it a great base for exploring Mérida on foot.
Rooms here sit firmly in the luxury range, with prices usually starting from around 8,000 to 12,000 MXN per night, but even if you’re not staying overnight it’s still worth popping in to see the space or visit the perfume boutique. Our tip would be to stop by earlier in the day when it’s quieter, take a moment to soak in the atmosphere, and maybe treat yourself to one of their fragrances as a unique souvenir. It’s one of those places that just feels iconic to Mérida.
