Teatro Juárez is a historic, ornate theater in the city center, so if you plan to attend a performance check the schedule and buy tickets in advance, especially during festival season when shows sell out. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes early to pick up tickets, pass through security, and choose a good seat; parking is scarce so walk or use a taxi or ride app. You can usually take photos of the facade and lobby before the show but avoid flash and filming during performances, and expect programs to be primarily in Spanish.
