Ojo de Agua is such a chill spot if you want to swim in crystal-clear freshwater springs surrounded by lush jungle. The natural pools are perfect for floating, swimming, or just cooling off after exploring Ometepe. We loved how peaceful it felt — it’s the kind of place where you can just relax and listen to the birds and the water.

The park is really well set up, with a few little trails, shaded areas, and a small café where you can grab snacks or drinks. It’s easy to spend a couple of hours here just hopping between the pools, swimming, and taking in the nature around you. There’s even a shallow area that’s great if you want to just chill your feet in the water.

Entrance is around 5 USD, making it a super affordable day out. If you’re visiting Ometepe and want a refreshing, peaceful spot to swim and enjoy nature, Reserva Natural Ojo de Agua is an absolute must.
