We stayed at Journey Hostel near Tayrona and honestly, it might have one of the most epic pools we’ve ever been in. The whole place is built out of bamboo and natural materials, giving it such a unique, tropical vibe. From the hammocks to the open-air lounges, everything feels super chill and Instagram-worthy.

The hostel has a really social vibe, so it’s perfect if you want to meet other travelers while still having some quiet corners to relax. We spent hours just lounging by the pool, sipping drinks, and planning our trips into Tayrona National Park, which is just a short ride away. The staff are awesome too and full of tips for getting the most out of your visit.

Dorms start at around 15–20 USD per night, and private rooms go for 40–60 USD, which is a steal for such a beautiful setting. If you’re heading to Tayrona and want a fun, tropical, and totally unique place to stay with an insane pool, Journey Hostel is an absolute must.
