If you end up at The Split in Caye Caulker, you’ll definitely come across The Lazy Lizard. This place is on the edge of town with people jumping into the water, and everyone just hanging out. It’s the perfect spot to park yourself right before the sunset.

We loved grabbing a cocktail, jumping off the 5 meter platform, and watching the sky explode with a crazy sunset. Drinks are pretty cheap, usually around 4–8 USD, and the atmosphere is fun without feeling over the top. If you want to experience Caye Caulker properly, you cannot miss this spot, its iconic.
