Staying at Sababa Resort was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Where do we even start? The breakfast was insane — probably one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had while travelling. Fresh fruit, eggs, local flavours, coffee… every morning felt like a treat we genuinely looked forward to.

The rooms were bright, super clean, and just so comfortable, which made it easy to come back and unwind after exploring Lake Atitlán. And the pool? Amazing. It’s one of those spots where you end up spending way more time than you planned just floating around and soaking up the chill resort vibes.

Prices are around 120–180 USD per night depending on the type of room and season, which feels really fair for the level of comfort, service, and that killer breakfast. One of the coolest parts is that the resort also runs one of the best bakeries/resutrant in town Sababa Resturant, so you can snag fresh pastries, breads, and sweet treats at the buffet breakfast.

If you’re after a mix of cozy comfort, great food, and a relaxed home base by the lake, Sababa Resort is absolutely worth it.
