If you’re visiting Lake Titicaca, hiking up Cerro El Calvario is a must. It’s a short but steep walk up from Copacabana, but the views at the top are honestly some of the best in the area.

From the summit, you get panoramic views over Lake Titicaca, with the deep blue water, rolling hills, and distant islands stretching out in every direction. Sunset here is especially beautiful, and it’s such a peaceful spot to just sit, take it all in, and snap a few photos.

The hike takes about 30–45 minutes one way, depending on your pace. There’s usually a small entrance fee (around 5–10 BOB). If you’re in Copacabana and want an easy hike with unreal lake views, Cerro El Calvario is absolutely worth it.
