Isla del Sol is easily one of the highlights of Lake Titicaca. The island is peaceful, scenic, and full of beautiful walking trails, small villages, and ancient Inca ruins. It feels like stepping back in time, with no cars, quiet paths, and incredible views over the lake everywhere you look.

We loved hiking across the island — the trails take you along cliff edges, through farming terraces, and past local homes, all with nonstop lake views. It’s a great place to slow down, disconnect, and just enjoy the natural beauty.

Boats run from Copacabana and usually cost around 30–50 BOB return, and most people spend half a day or a full day exploring. If you’re visiting Lake Titicaca, Isla del Sol is an absolute must-do for the views, history, and peaceful vibe.
