If you’re visiting Tulum and want a classic cenote experience, Gran Cenote is a must. This was one of the best cenotes we went to! The water is so clear it feels like swimming in a natural pool with glass walls, and there are spots for snorkeling to see turtles and fish if you’re lucky. It’s bigger than some of the other cenotes nearby, so there’s plenty of space to float, swim, or just relax on the edges.

Entrance is usually around 200 MXN per person, and you can rent a life jacket if you want extra safety. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and snag a good spot near the water. Even if you just sit on the edge dipping your feet, it’s one of those magical Tulum experiences that feels like nature’s own little paradise.
