Palomino completely surprised us. This small beach town on Colombia’s Caribbean coast has a chilled-out, boho vibe that instantly makes you relax. It’s the perfect spot for couples who love beaches, rivers, and a slow pace of life.
Things We Loved in Palomino:
Beaches & Sunsets – The long, golden-sand beach is perfect for walks, swimming, and watching incredible sunsets right over the ocean.
Tubing the Palomino River – Floating down the river past lush jungle was such a fun and relaxing adventure—we loved doing it together.
Surfing – The waves here are great for beginners, and there are a few surf schools right on the beach if you want to give it a try.
Local Cafés & Eats – Small beachfront restaurants serve fresh seafood and tropical drinks—we spent so many afternoons just relaxing and enjoying the vibe.
Best Hotel:
Palomino Bed & Breakfast – We stayed here and loved it. Cozy rooms, beachfront access, and a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect base to explore the area.
