We stumbled upon Coquitos and it instantly became one of our favorite little spots to chill. It’s a tiny, laid-back beach with palm trees, soft sand, and super calm water, perfect for floating, swimming, or just relaxing with a drink in hand.

What makes it really special is how quiet and peaceful it feels, especially compared to some of the busier beaches in Bocas del Toro. We loved grabbing a coconut from one of the local stands and just lounging while taking in the views. It’s the kind of place where you can really slow down and soak up the Caribbean vibes.

There’s no entry fee, and the easiest way to get there is by boat from the main islands for around 5–10 USD, or even by kayak if you’re up for a bit of adventure. If you want a chill, gorgeous little beach to escape the crowds, Coquitos is a perfect pick.
