We visited Jardín del Edén Cenote in 2015 and it was an absolute highlight for anyone who loves swimming in crystal-clear, turquoise water surrounded by nature. This cenote is huge and open, with plenty of space to float, snorkel, or just jump off the rocks into the refreshing water. The setting feels wild and natural, with hanging vines, lush greenery, and sunlight streaming down to make the water sparkle.

Entrance is usually around 200 MXN per person, and there’s a small fee if you want to rent a life jacket or snorkel gear. Our tip is to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the calm water, bring water shoes as the rocks can be slippery, and pack a towel and sunscreen. It’s perfect for a relaxing swim or a few hours just soaking in the beauty, and the peaceful, jungle-like surroundings make it feel like your own hidden paradise.
