If you’re visiting the Galápagos Islands, Isla Lobos is a must-stop for wildlife lovers and anyone looking for a close-up encounter with nature. This small island near San Cristóbal is home to playful sea lions, marine birds, and a beautiful coastline — perfect for snorkeling, walking, or just relaxing in a pristine natural setting.

We explored this island on our 6 day boat cruise but if you're not doing a cruise you can also visit as a day trip from San Cristobal.

If you’re in the Galápagos and want a peaceful, wildlife-filled escape with incredible snorkeling and up-close animal encounters (especially sea lions), Isla Lobos is definitely worth visiting.
