Staying at Hotel Palacio de Sal is such a cool experience — it’s one of the famous salt hotels, built almost entirely from salt blocks taken from the Salar de Uyuni. From the walls to the furniture, everything feels unique, and it really adds to the magic of being in one of the most surreal places on earth.

The hotel itself is super comfortable and surprisingly luxurious, especially considering how remote the location is. The rooms are cozy and warm, and there are big communal areas where you can relax, have a drink, and watch the sunset over the salt flats — which is honestly unreal.

Prices usually range from 150–300 USD per night, depending on the room and season. It’s definitely a splurge, but if you want a once-in-a-lifetime stay that matches the uniqueness of the Salar de Uyuni, Hotel Palacio de Sal is absolutely worth it.
