We stayed at Free Cerveza Hostel and honestly, it was such a fun spot. The vibe is super social and welcoming, and the rooms and common areas are comfy and clean enough that you feel at home right away. What really makes it stand out is that every day you get free beer if you join their family-style dinner, which is such a fun way to meet other travellers and enjoy some local food and drinks together.

The hostel has a chill, friendly vibe they've got hammocks, shared tables, and lots of spaces to hang out and chat with people from all over the world. The staff are really helpful too, giving tips for things to do in Antigua and helping you plan trips to nearby volcanoes, markets, or day tours.

It’s also really well located, just a short walk from town, but the best part is being directly on Lake Atitlan. Prices are super affordable, usually around 10–15 USD per night for a dorm bed and a bit more for private rooms, which is an awesome deal for what you get. If you’re traveling solo or just want a social, lively place to stay, Free Cerveza Hostel is a total winner.
