Plaza de la Trinidad is one of those places you’ll probably end up at more than once while you’re in Cartagena. It’s a lively square in Getsemaní where locals, travellers, street performers, and food vendors all come together, especially in the evenings. The vibe is fun, social, and full of energy.
We loved grabbing a drink, sitting on the steps, and just people-watching. There’s always something going on — music, dancing, performers, or just groups hanging out and chatting. It’s a great spot to meet other travellers, and it feels very local and authentic compared to some of the more touristy areas.
The perfect place to come at night time as well because there is dancing a lot of great food especially the burger stand you cant miss it, but be careful of your pockets this is a notorious spot for pick pocketing
It’s free to hang out, and you can grab cheap beers or street food from vendors nearby for just a few dollars. If you’re in Cartagena and want a real taste of the city’s nightlife and local culture, Plaza de la Trinidad is a must.
