We visited the Jaguar Rescue Center and it was such a cool experience — a mix of wildlife, conservation, and getting up close to some amazing animals. It’s not just about jaguars, either — they rescue and care for monkeys, sloths, toucans, and all kinds of local wildlife that need a second chance.

Walking around the center, you can see the animals in safe, natural-looking enclosures, learn about the rescue and rehab work, and really get a feel for how much care goes into their lives. The guides are super friendly and full of stories about the animals, which makes the visit both fun and educational.

Entry is around 15 USD per person, and it’s totally worth it for a couple of hours. If you’re into wildlife, learning about conservation, or just want a hands-on experience with Costa Rica’s incredible animals, the Jaguar Rescue Center is a must-visit.
