We popped into RetroGusto one evening and instantly loved the vibe — it’s bright, fun, and has a really laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to just chill and enjoy the night. The bar and restaurant area are super cozy, with plenty of spots to sit back, sip a drink, and people-watch.

The food is delicious and hearty, with a mix of local Panamanian dishes and international flavours. We especially loved their pizzas and pastas, and the cocktails are really well made — perfect if you want to pair a drink with your meal. It’s the kind of place where you can relax for hours without feeling rushed, which we loved.

Prices are pretty reasonable, usually around 10–20 USD per main, and cocktails are about 5–8 USD. If you’re in Boquete and want a fun, casual spot with good food, tasty drinks, and a friendly vibe, RetroGusto is a great choice.
