I absolutely loved this walk and highly suggest you lace up your boots and give it a go if you get the chance. The Marions Way and Coomie's Walk Loop in Beecraft is a captivating 9.7-kilometer circuit trail that beautifully combines natural beauty with a touch of adventure. Starting from the Abrahams Bosom Reserve car park, I recommend navigating the trail clockwise for the best experience. You’ll first encounter Wilsons Beach, definitely take the time to walk down to the shore and soak in the stunning coastal views before heading to Lobster Bay. Both spots highlight the breathtaking terrain of the area.
Next up is the Gosangs Tunnel, a tiny cave where you’ll need to crouch and crawl through to reveal incredible jagged cliffs overlooking the ocean. It’s a magical and somewhat exhilarating experience, especially when you realize just how high up you are! Continuing on, you’ll reach the Mermaid Inlet, a narrow but spectacular spot with amazing views. Watch as the tides roll in and the waves crash, sending sea foam flying everywhere, it’s truly beautiful.
As you traverse the Coomies Walk, you’ll come across various native plants and wildlife, with informative signs adding depth to your hike. The trail is well-maintained and accessible, making it a great choice for both casual walkers and seasoned adventurers. Don’t forget your camera to capture the picturesque scenery and the occasional wildlife sighting along the way.
