Meads Wall is one of the Lord of the Rings locations that you won’t want to miss, especially if you’re a fan of the films or just a lover of unique landscapes. It’s located near Iwikau Village, and getting there is pretty easy, just a 500-meter walk from the parking lot. The track itself is alpine terrain, so watch your footing, but it's definitely manageable. The route is well-marked with posts, so you won’t get lost.

When you get closer to the wall, it starts to feel a bit sketchy. I couldn’t personally find the exact spot where Sam and Frodo take the journey to Mount Doom but I got pretty close (2nd photo in the collection). Just be cautious it’s a steep ridgeline drop, so don’t stray off the main track. Even if you're not a Lord of the Rings fan, the rugged terrain is pretty cool and worth checking out. The area is covered in snow in winter, so only attempt visiting in the warmer months if you're planning a visit. It’s a short walk, but it packs a punch in terms of both scenery and film history.
