When exploring the prom my advice is to visit every single beach in the area and Whisky Bay is one to look forward to. This beach isn't nearly as popular as Squeaky Beach or others in the area and I don't really understand why, I love this one. I’ve been there a few times, and it’s particularly picturesque at high tide, though it’s beautiful all day long. The beach is just a short 400-meter walk from the car park, where you’ll find golden sands, clear blue waters, and dramatic coastal scenery. It’s not a patrolled beach, so take caution when swimming and always check for rips. I personally found the water to be very calm, but it’s good to stay vigilant.

For the best photos and views, head to the right side of the beach (as you walk down from the path). There, you’ll find striking orange-colored rocks that you can climb for some amazing scenery. You might also spot local wildlife, like dolphins swimming in the bay or native birds soaring overhead. The laid-back atmosphere of Whisky Bay makes it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Wilsons Prom without the crowds you might find at other beaches in the area.
