This beach is unreal! It’s tucked away right near Cape Farewell, and you’ll need to do a short 20-minute walk from the car park to get there, but it’s 100 per cent worth it. Wharariki Beach is super dramatic with massive sand dunes, wild waves, and those famous Archway Islands out in the water, you might’ve even seen it as the screensaver on your computer, it’s that iconic. 

If you time it right at low tide, you might spot baby seals splashing around in the rock pools, which is so cute. It’s windy and raw out here, but that just adds to the vibe. It's such a beautiful and unique beach.
