Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Lookout was my first stop in Freycinet National Park, and it was the perfect way to kick off my adventure. This spot is ideal for anyone looking for a quick yet rewarding excursion. As you wander along the boardwalk, you’re treated to sweeping views of the beautiful Freycinet Peninsula. The scenery is nothing short of dramatic, think sparkling waters and rugged cliffs that paint a stunning picture of Tasmania’s natural beauty.

The lighthouse itself, named after French Admiral Comte de Tourville, stands proudly, keeping watch over the coastline. The walk to the lighthouse is straightforward and accessible, making it a great option for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just out for a leisurely stroll. The raised boardwalk makes the journey smooth and comfortable, offering unobstructed views of the breathtaking landscape.
