Monkey Creek is a sweet little stop along the road to Milford Sound. You can fill your bottle straight from the glacier-fed spring here,  the water’s cold, fresh, and way better than anything you'll get out of a tap. The mountain backdrop is pretty stunning too, especially on a clear day.

Keep an eye out for cheeky kea hanging around the carpark. They’re super curious, but don't feed them or get too close they're protected.
