If you’re up for a quick detour between all the beach hopping in Jervis Bay, make sure to check out the Governor Head Track. This brief coastal walk is a fantastic way to break up your beach time and offers some truly epic views. Starting from the Murrays Beach carpark, the track takes you through a charming eucalypt forest before arriving at a fenced viewing area at Governors Head. The views of Bowen Island and the surrounding coastline are absolutely stunning. The trail is about 5 kilometers long and will take you roughly 45 minutes to complete. With some interpretative signage along the way, it’s an easy stroll that’s perfect for a brief adventure. What could be better than enjoying a beautiful walk and then diving into one of the most stunning beaches in the country?
