Rainbow Falls at Blackdown Tablelands National Park is a mesmerizing natural wonder that will leave you in awe. Nestled in Queensland’s rugged terrain, this stunning waterfall plunges gracefully over sandstone escarpments into a crystal-clear pool with a unique twist, unlike many falls, the pool here is adorned with white sand, making the water appear exceptionally clear.

To reach Rainbow Falls, set out on a 4.5 km return hike along the Gudda Gumoo Trail. Starting from the Rainbow Falls car park, the trail meanders through lush rainforest and captivating landscapes, building anticipation as you approach the falls. When you finally arrive, the sight of water cascading down and creating vibrant rainbows in the sunlight is truly breathtaking.

For the most enchanting experience, aim to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when the light casts a magical glow on the falls. The surrounding greenery enhances the scene, providing a picturesque backdrop that's perfect for memorable photos.
