Jackson Hole
The town surrounded by the Tetons
Category

Area

Jackson is one of the best towns to visit near Grand Teton National Park. Even though it’s relatively small, the town has a very lively atmosphere with great local shops, western-style streets, and some of the best restaurants in the area. It feels like a mix between a mountain town and a classic country-western destination, which makes the experience feel unique compared to other gateway towns near National Parks. One of my favorite things about Jackson was that almost everywhere I went, I still had views of the Tetons in the background. The scenery around town makes even simple walks or restaurant stops feel special.

Whether you’re looking for good food, coffee shops, local boutiques, or just a place to relax after exploring the park, Jackson is definitely worth spending time in instead of only passing through.
