New Blue Spring was one of those places in Yellowstone that made me stop for a moment and just take everything in. Standing on the boardwalk surrounded by the massive white terraces made the landscape feel almost unreal, like I was walking on another planet.

Even though this stop doesn’t require a hike, the views around the area felt huge and peaceful. I loved how open the scenery was, especially with the mountains in the background and the geothermal formations stretching across the terraces.

The area is very easy to explore and works perfectly as a quick scenic stop while visiting Mammoth Hot Springs, but honestly it ended up being one of the places where I spent more time than expected just admiring the landscape.
