If there’s one bakery you’ll hear about in Ikseon-dong, it’s this one. Soha Salt Pond is basically salt bread heaven — the place that turned these buttery little rolls into an Instagram obsession. The shop is tiny but super atmospheric, with salt-harvesting details worked into the design. It’s also insanely popular, so yes… expect a line.

What to order:

  • Start with the classic salt bread — crispy outside, soft and buttery inside, with just the right touch of salt.

  • If you want something fun, go for the milk cream version (sweet + salty perfection) or the truffle one if you’re into richer flavors.

  • They’re always rotating in seasonal options like mentaiko, corn, caramel, or peanut cream.

  • For drinks, the iced salted chocolate is a sleeper hit — it’s like a rich mocha with a salty-sweet twist.

More info:

  • Breads are around ₩3,000–₩5,000 each, and they do sell out of the popular flavors.

  • It’s open from 9 AM to 9 PM, but mornings or late evenings are your best bet if you don’t want to queue forever.

  • You can grab to-go, but sitting inside is fun if you want the full hanok-meets-modern vibe.
