Starfield Library Suwon—also called Byeolmadang Library in Korean—is the centerpiece and most photographed spot inside the Starfield Suwon Mega Mall, the largest shopping complex in Suwon. Admission is completely free, and anyone can enter.
Following the success of the original COEX Starfield Library in Seoul, Suwon’s version is even grander. While COEX spans 2 floors with 13m-high shelves, Starfield Suwon stretches across 4 floors (4F–7F) with bookshelves soaring up to 22m. It also includes a Starfield Library Kids, which you won’t find at the COEX location.
Vinyl Café (LP Café)
On the 5th floor you’ll find Vinyl Café, where for a small entrance fee (including one drink) you can enjoy music from a collection of 10,000 LPs spanning K-pop, pop, OSTs, and more. Each seat has its own turntable and headset—with clear instructions on how to use them. If you snag a window seat, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the library while listening to your favorite record.
Starfield Suwon Mall
Operated by the Shinsegae Group, Starfield Suwon is the largest mall in Suwon, spanning from B8 to 8F—roughly the size of 46 football stadiums. Unlike other Starfield malls, Suwon is the first “2nd generation Starfield” designed with the MZ generation (20s–30s) in mind. Over 30% of its 400 stores are exclusive to this location, bringing in trendy experiential shops and food brands inspired by Seoul hot spots like Seongsu, Hannam, and Hongdae.
