Right in the middle of Gangnam’s high-rises, you’ll find this surprisingly quiet green space where two kings and a queen from the Joseon Dynasty are buried. Seolleung is the tomb of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon, while Jeongneung holds King Jungjong. The walking paths are easy and shaded by pine trees, making it a peaceful place to escape the noise for an hour. It’s pretty in autumn with the leaves on the ground, and the contrast of ancient tombs against the glass towers makes for some of the coolest photos in Seoul.
