My husband and I have owned boats for many years along with a boat charter business of classic Dutch barges, I can assure you with one hundred percent certainty, that a river trip is very hard to beat! There is something just good for the soul being around nature and surrounded by water. There is no choice but to just slow down and take in the moment.
This is a lovely way to look at the beauty of Oxford's countryside and nature, from the river and with an afternoon tea too! 😍
Cruise along the University Regatta course, winding through rowers and punts
Relish an afternoon tea served on board with finger sandwiches, scones, and tea
Sail through Water Meadows and spot wildlife in the overhanging willow trees
Gaze at Rose Island, a beloved destination of Lewis Carroll and Alice Liddell
See iconic landmarks from the water, such as Boat Houses and Folly Bridge
