The King's Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a public art gallery that showcases works from the Royal Collection in London. Originally known as the Queen's Gallery, it was opened to the public in 1962 during Elizabeth II's reign. After a refurbishment and expansion in the early 2000s, the gallery now features around 450 paintings and drawings on display. Visitors can enjoy rotating exhibitions, including a recent showcase of Leonardo da Vinci's drawings. With its own separate entrance and a mix of classical and modern architecture, The King's Gallery offers a unique cultural experience within the historic walls of Buckingham Palace.
