One of the great things about Ireland are the beaches (believe it or not). Murvagh beach right beside Donegal Golf Club is perfect for a stroll and a quick dip (if you're brave enough). I recommend going at sunset if at all possible.

The great thing about Irish beaches is they are so often empty. It's hard to beat that feeling of stumbling across one of the most beautiful beaches you've ever seen in your life and realising that you're the only one lucky enough to be standing there.
