Welcome to the heart of Connemara, where you can step straight from the visitor centre onto trails that cut through wild, beautiful landscapes of bogs, mountains, and grasslands.

I highly recommend taking a day off golf and going for a hike here.

The main event for many is the hike up Diamond Hill; it's a rewarding climb with a boardwalk path for much of the way. Once you reach the summit, you're treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Twelve Bens mountain range and the Atlantic coastline. The full loop takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and is well worth the effort for those incredible vistas.
