Wicklow Golf Club is not even ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Ireland but it has some of the most spectacular scenery you will get anywhere in the world. The golf course is not long and it is hilly but the views at this place are off the charts.

I might be biased because I grew up playing here but I believe Wicklow doesn't get the credit it deserves as a golf course.

If you get the chance to play early in the morning you will see some of the most beautiful sunrises you can get anywhere. I would highly recommend starting your morning getting a coffee at the Good Life coffee shop just down the road, get yourself to the nearby Black Castle for sunrise then head straight to the first tee at the golf club.

Wicklow is not expensive and can often be played for €50 or less.
