Dundonald is more of a modern links courses than a lot of the top Scottish courses. Strong course, would definitely recommend as part of a trip to the west coast of Scotland and considering it's hosted some top events like the Women's Scottish Open, Open Championship qualifying there's no doubt it's a championship level golf course although I personally wouldn't rate it as highly as some of the other courses around.

It's definitely good enough to play as part of a golf trip in this area - facilities are up there with the best I've ever seen. Beautiful driving range, short game area, the locker room even has a sauna.
