Woodenbridge is set just off the grounds of Ireland's oldest hotel dating back to 1608 and was a holiday destination of one of Ireland's most famous historical figures, Éamon de Valera.
The golf course itself is set in a valley in an area called The Vale of Avoca. It's a stunning parkland course and you can usually play the course for less than €100. If you're looking for a budget friendly option for a golf trip with golf courses that are still absolutely beautiful then add Woodenbridge to your list.
